    I am posting 2 bar cookie recipes that you all may not have, T'n'T. I took a batch of each of these to the kids' dentist office a while back and we were really popular! This first one I cut out of the coupon section of the paper several years ago, very rich. From the Hershey's Kitchen, I think. Hope you like them, Sandy.

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup cold margarine or butter
    1 12oz pkg Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
    1 14oz can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
    (NOT evaporated milk)
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350F. In med. bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in margarine until crumbly. Stir in 1/2 cup of chips; press firmly on bottom of 9X13 inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in same bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla; stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups chips and nuts. Spread evenly over prepared crust. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature
    Makes 24 to 36 bars
