    To Die For" Toffee Squares

    List of Ingredients




    1 C. margarine
    1 C. brown sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 C. flour
    1-6oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate pieces melted
    1/2 C. chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Thoroughly cream margarine and sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla and mix well.

    Add the flour, blending it in well.

    Spread in a greased 10-1/2" x 15-1/2" jelly roll pan and bake 350 degrees
    for 15-20 minutes.

    Remove from oven and spread immediately with the melted chocolate. Sprinkle
    with nuts.

    Cool completely and cut into squares.

    Makes 24 squares. It's like candy and is to "die for!!!"
