    1 roll Rolo candy
    4 oz bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
    2 oz unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
    1/2 cup butter, cubed
    1 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 eggs
    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
    1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    pinch of salt
    2 tablespoons butterscotch sauce

    Recipe



    1. Cut each caramel-chocolate candy piece into quarters; set aside.

    2. In heavy saucepan, melt together bittersweet and unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; let cool slightly. Whisk in sugar and vanilla. Whisk in eggs, one at a time, until shiny.

    3. In bowl, stir together flour, half of the pecans, the baking powder and salt; stir gently into chocolate mixture just until combined.

    4. Spread in greased 8 inch square cake pan. Drizzle with half of the butterscotch sauce. Scatter caramel-chocolate candy and remaining pecans over top; lightly press into batter without submerging. Drizzle with remaining sauce.

    5. Bake in 350 F oven for 35 minutes or until cake tester inserted in centre comes out clean. Let cool on rack. Cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies.
