    My SIL sent this to me today....she swears it is delicious. I have not yet tried it, due to my WW program..which is going nicely I might add. I don't want to sabatoge all my good wt. loss so far.
    I thought that some of you who are not so *calorically challenged* as I, would like to give it a try.

    List of Ingredients




    1 box chex cereal
    2 c pecans
    1/2 c karo syrup
    1/2 c packed brown sugar
    4 T. butter or 1/2 stick
    1 t. vanilla
    1/2 t baking soda

    Recipe




    Mix cereal and pecans in 9x13 pan

    Put next 3 ingredients in microwaveable bowl and microwave for 1 min.
    stir and microwave an additional 1- 1 1/2 min. until it starts to boil.

    Mix in the vanilla and baking soda. Stir in very well. Because of the soda it should start to foam. Pour mixture over cereal and pecans. Stir to coat
    very well.

    Bake at 250º for an hour. Stir every 20 minutes. When finished pour out on a cookie sheet to cool. Once cooled, break up into pieces.
