    Mom's Lamb Mold Cake Recipe

    I used a Lemonade Glaze and served it
    as a " BABA AU Drenched Lemonade Cake!!"
    (Any shaped pan will work!!)
    Used a LARGE can (12 oz) of the concentrated Lemonade,
    and it is sooooo good!! After pouring the Lemonade on the
    warm cake w/ toothpick holes, I took 1/4 of the can of Lemonade,
    concentrate, and added some powdered sugar to it,
    to make a pourable glaze; which adds a beautiful translucent touch!!
    Everyone eats this cake, and nothing is ever left!!

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. cream cheese
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    5 large eggs
    3 cups flour
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 teaspoons baking powder

    Bake at 350 degrees for one hour

    The recipe makes two cakes.
    Place the lamb cake mold face DOWN on a cookie sheet - fill buttered and floured pan half with half of the batter and then place the back half of the mold on the top so that the vent hole is not blocked. The batter will rise to fill the top half (back half) of the mold so the finished cake is one piece.

    Vanilla butter frosting
    3 Tablespoons butter
    1 1/2 cups confectionery sugar
    3/4 teaspoon vanilla
    1 Tablespoon milk (approximately)

    You can use coconut or fine grind walnuts over the frosting. Also use jelly beans for the eyes (black-eyes pink-nose red-lips)
