Sponge Cake Without Eggs

Recipe Introduction
This cake is suitable for vegetarians who do not eat eggs, as it contains neither eggs nor egg powder.
List of Ingredients
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 cups plain flour
• 1 tsp. Vanilla essence
• 3/4 cup condensed milk
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 5 pinches Soda bicarbonate
Recipe
1.
Measure all ingredients and keep aside separately.

Mix butter and sugar and whisk to a creamy consistency.
3.
Add condensed milk and whisk some more.
4.
Add vanilla essence and mix.
5.
Mix flour, soda bicarbonate and baking powder together well.
6.
Fold this flour into the rest of the mix.
7.
Put in a lined, greased baking tin and place in the centre of the oven (preheated to 170 C).
8.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Oven temperatures and performances vary, so adjust time accordingly. Fan ovens need a little less time.
