Recipe Introduction


I had this in Vienna and searched a long time before I found this recipe. This is one of my all time favourite dish.


List of Ingredients




1 kg onions chopped
oil for frying
2 kg lean beef cubed
200 g paprika
100 g tomato paste
salt, pepper, caraway seeds, marjoram and garlic to taste

Recipe



Fry the onion until golden brown in large casserole pan. Add meat and brown. Add the paprika and the tomato paste. Add enough water just to cover the meat and add the remaining seasonings. Cover and simmer for 1.5 hours on medium heat.
