Enchilada Sauce: (Spicy)
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 1/2 to 2 c. chicken broth (depends on how thin you want it)
1/2 t. roasted garlic
1/4 t. basil
1/4 t. cumin
1 t. paprika
1 t. cilantro
2 t. hot chili powder
1 t. cayenne pepper
dash black pepper
Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
Enchilada Sauce: (Restaurant Style)
1 T. veg. oil
1 cup diced onion
1 T. crushed garlic
1 t. oregano
1 t. cumin
3 T. flour
1/4 cup + 1 T. hot chili powder
4 cups chicken broth
Heat oil in large saucepan, saute onion until tender, stir in rest of ingredients & simmer about 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe
