GG's Drunk Chicken

List of Ingredients
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
4 boneless breasts
1/2 tsp. crushed tarragon
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 clove minced garlic
3 Tbsps. minced onion
1 cup white vermouth
1 cup mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
1-2 Tbsps. water (opt.) Recipe
Melt butter. Season chicken in all spices. Brown in butter. Add vermouth. Cover and simmer one hour, turning
occasionally. Add more vermouth if it boils away. Add mushrooms and simmer another 10 minutes. Remove
chicken. Over high heat, evaporate most of liquid. Add cream and mix thoroughly. If it separates, stir in water.
Place chicken on rice or noodles and cover with gravy. Makes 4 servings.
