Creamy Clam Sauce and Pasta

Yield: 4 servings
List of Ingredients
1 c fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 cl garlic
1/4 c butter
1 T olive oil
3 T flour
12 oz chopped clams, liquid reserved
1 c half and half
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/4 t fresh ground pepper
freshly chopped parsley Recipe
Brown mushrooms and garlic in butter and olive oil. Stir in flour.
Stir in clam liquid and cook until thickened. Add clams, cream,
cheese, pepper and keep warm.
This is best with half whole wheat or spinach pasta and half egg
pasta. Top with fresh chopped parsley and coarsely ground pepper.
