Recipe Introduction
As this was the first time that I made the Lattice Chicken Pot Pie I thought I'd let ya know how it was. Very Good, but could of made double in that size of baking dish!! It was easy to assemble, didn't take many dishes to prepare and best of all was better than any store bought pot pie. This one gets a thumbs uP
List of Ingredients
1 16 oz. pkg. frozen California-blend vegetables
2 cups cooked chicken
1 10-3/4 oz. can condensed cream of potato soup, undiluted
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (2.8 oz.) french-fried onions
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls Recipe
In a large bowl, combine the vegetables, chicken, soup, milk, cheese, onions and seasoned salt. Transfer to a greased 13-inch by 9-inch baking dish. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 2 rectangles. Seal the perforations; cut each rectangle lengthwise into 1/2-inch strips. Form a lattice crust over the chicken mixture. Bake, uncovered, 375 for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
