    This is one of my most requested pie recipes! Easy Too:-)

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 CUP BUTTER
    2/3 CUP SUGAR
    2/3 CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
    2/3 CUP REGULAR ROLLED OATS(do not use quick oats)
    2 EGGS
    1 TEASPOON VANILLA
    1 9-INCH UNBAKED PIE CRUST(I usually use a deep dish crust)
    1/2 CUP CHOPPED PECANS(I use as many as it takes to cover the top of the pie)
    WHIPPED CREAM, OPTIONAL

    Recipe



    1. IN A SAUCEPAN, MELT BUTTER. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN SUGAR,CORN SYRUP AND OATS
    2. STIR IN EGGS AND VANILLA. MIX WELL
    3. POUR MIXTURE INTO THE UNBAKED PIE CRUST. TOP WITH PECANS. COVER EDGE OF PIE CRUST WITH FOIL TO PREVENT OVERBROWNING.
    4. BAKE IN A 325º OVEN FOR 25 MINUTES. REMOVE FOIL. BAKE FOR 20-25 MINUTES MORE OR UNTIL SET. COOL ON WIRE RACK.
    5. SERVE WITH WHIPPED CREAM

    YIELD: 8-SERVINGS
