Recipe Introduction
Hi, My name is Pat and I live in Upstate, NY with my husband of fifty
years. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren who live in Georgia,
New York and New Hampshire. We all love this recipe.
List of Ingredients
4 loin pork chops
1 pound sauerkraut
canola oil
bread crumbs 1 cup
paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, 1/2 teaspoon of each
apple juice, 1 to 2 cups
serves 2 Recipe
Heat canola oil in frying pan, Dip pork chops in bread crumb mixture
to which you have added paprika, cayenne pepper and salt to taste.
Brown chops over medium heat. Put sauerkraut into ovenproof dish.
Arrange pork chops on top. Put 1 cup apple juice in hot frying pan,
scrape loose bits and pour over pork chops. Cover and bake in a 325
degree oven until very tender, usually one hour, but it will depend on
the thickness of the chops. Add more juice if needed. Serve with
mashed potatoes and green beans for a cold weather treat that will
warm you up. Of course you can increase this for a larger crowd.
Tasty and easy! Good Appetite.
