Recipe Introduction
Hi there fellow Recitopians! Falcon here from chilly Virginia with my
third offering to this wonderful e-zine. Have my little lady D.D. on
my lap (hello to Nell) and we're reading today's updates. Just had
this wonderful and hearty, rib-sticking soup last week and new hubby
went ballistic. This goes great on a cold rainy day with lots of
crusty French bread on the side.
List of Ingredients
1 bag 15 beans (Found in dried bean section
of the grocery store.)
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 round Polish sausage
1 large onion
1 cup raw cabbage
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Salt and pepper or I use Cajun seasoning to taste Recipe
Soak beans overnight. The next morning pour the water off and cover
again with cold water. (About 6 quarts) Add all the other
ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer all day long
ever so slowly. Serve it up with a nice tossed salad. Leftovers are
even better the next day.
