    I love tuna sandwiches! Here's my own recipe, plus a couple of others that I use regularly. Hope you like some of these!

    List of Ingredients




    Teresa's Spicy Tuna Sandwich Spread

    Ingredients:

    1 tblsp. chili sauce
    1 tsp. Worcestershire
    5 drops Tabasco
    1 3 oz. package cream cheese, cubed
    1/4 of a small onion, finely chopped
    1 7 oz. can tuna, drained well

    Directions:

    Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Spread on sandwich bread.

    Terrific Tuna Salad

    Ingredients:

    2 cans all-white tuna
    1-2 Tbl. relish (to taste)
    1 tsp. Dijon mustard (to taste)
    2-3 Tbl. mayonnaise (to taste)
    1/4 c. sunflower seeds
    1/2 c. grapes, halved

    Directions:

    Drain tuna and mix with relish, mayonnaise, and mustard, tasting as you go to determine how sweet/tangy/creamy you like it. Mix in the sunflower seeds and grapes. Make sandwiches or serve plain or on lettuce leaves.

    Southwest Tuna Salad Sandwich

    Ingredients:

    2 cans (6-oz) solid white tuna packed in water, drained well
    1/2 cup minced red bell pepper
    1 medium-sized jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
    1 Tbsp minced cilantro
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp lemon juice
    1 large clove garlic, peeled and forced through a press
    1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
    6 small inner leaves, romaine lettuce, cut into fine shreds
    2 whole pita bread, split and opened

    Instructions:

    Break up the tuna into fine flakes. Add the bell pepper, jalapeno and cilantro. Stir together they mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic and Tabasco.

    Combine the tuna mixture with the mayonnaise dressing and refrigerate until ready to use.

    Just before serving, stir the the shreds of romaine. Fill the pita bread with lettuce and tuna mixture and serve.
