    Mustard Sauce for Ham

    I find that this recipe comes close in flavor to Honey Baked Ham's "Tantalizing Mustard Sauce", which I simply love.

    List of Ingredients




    5 Tbsp dry mustard
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    5 Tbsp. corn oil
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp ground cloves
    3.4 cup packed brown sugar

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients in the bowl of an electric mixer and mix well for 5 minutues. Set the bowl into a pan of boiling water and cook over medium heat, stiffing for 15 to 20 minutes or so, until all the graininess disappears. Spoon the mustard into a glass jar and let it cool. Screw the lid on the jar, and store the mustard in the refrigerator for at least a week before using it (if you can!).
