Recipe Introduction
I tried your marinade on some steaks this evening. This marinade
was easy to make and our steaks were tasty. The only change I
made was to substitute red wine vinegar for the regular vinegar. This evening I wanted
something quick and tasty, so I pulled your recipe from my file.
I'll definitely keep this recipe. Thanks for posting and happy 2001!

List of Ingredients
As a matter of fact I just mixed some of this to marinate sirloin strips this morning. Here is the recipe I always use IF I want teriyaki:
1/2 cup soy sauce
14 cup vinegar
2 T brown sugar
2 T minced onion (if I use dried I use 1 Tablespoon)
1 T veg oil
1 clove of minced garlic
1/2 t ground ginger
a few dashes of pepper
Recipe
Combine the above ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and frig at least 2-3 hours or overnight. Our favorite is to cut sirloin or flank steak in thin strips, thread on skewers and grill for about 7-8 minutes. I also kabob the steak and put on skewers (alternating with veggies) and grill.
