    Hi Rattabug,
    here is the recipe I use. I some times double it as we use lots of jam (jelly).

    List of Ingredients




    1 kg (2.2lb) strawberries, hulled
    6 cups white sugar
    1 and 1/2 tsp tartaric acid

    Recipe



    Method
    Put strawberries into a preserving pan. Crush lightly with a potato masher or fork. Add sugar and stir thoroughly. Bring to the boil and boil 5 minutes. Add tartaric acid and boil
    rapidly for a further 5 minutes. Pour into sterilised jars. Makes approx 4 cups.
