    Recipe Introduction


    good rolls - I adapted them from a roll we had in Oregon - They're nice too, because you don't have to form them - they bake in muffin cups. You could add some herbs to it to make the flavor more interesting.

    List of Ingredients




    2 packages dry yeast
    2 cups warm water

    1/4 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons salt
    2 eggs

    1/4 tablespoon oil

    1/2 cup potato flakes
    1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
    5 1/2 cups flour

    Recipe



    Dissolve yeast in warm water in lg. mixing bowl. Add potato flakes to water and let dissolve. Add sugar, salt, eggs, oil, onion pwd. and 1 c. flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour. Continue stirring til smooth. Scrape batter from side of bowl. Cover and let dough rise for 20-30 min. Stir down batter. Spoon into 24 greased muffin cups, filling each 1/2 full. Let rise u til batter reaches tops of cups, 20-30 minutes. Heat oven to 400 F. Bake 15 minutes. 2 doz rolls.
