    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
    1 cup granulated sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. fresh orange juice
    1-1/2 tsp. grated orange zest
    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325F.

    Grease and flour 8-1/2"x4-1/2"x3" loaf pan.

    Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into bowl; set aside.

    In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugar on high speed; add dry
    ingredients alternately with eggs, beating on low speed and scraping sides of
    bowl; add juice, zest, and vanilla; beat until just incorporated.

    Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

    Bake until cake has risen, is golden brown on top, and tester inserted into
    center comes out clean (about 1 hour).

    Let cake rest in pan for 10 minutes; turn out onto wire rack to cool for at
    least 30 minutes before serving.
