    I have made this many times over the years and it is a huge hit!

    List of Ingredients




    Combine the following in a large bowl:

    5 large Golden Delicious apples, peeled, sliced 1/2" thick
    2 C fresh cranberries
    1 C sugar
    1/3 C flour
    2 T melted butter
    1/2 t ground ginger


    For crust: Homemade or store bought
    (2) 9' unbaked pie shell
    *egg yolk for egg wash
    *sugar for sprinkling on top lattice crust

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375°

    Spoon prepared apples (see above) into unbaked pie shell

    Cut second crust into strips and weave into a lattice patern crust.

    Brush crust edges & lattice top with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake for 60 minutes, until crust is golden, filling is bubbly and apples tender.
