    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 C butter, softened at room temperature
    • 1 8oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature
    • 1 1/2 C sugar
    • 1 1/2 t vanilla
    • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
    • 1 3/4 C flour
    • 1 1/2 t baking powder


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350°
    2. Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy and light, add sugar gradually, beat in eggs, slowly.
    3. Combine flour, baking powder; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
    4. Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan.
    5. Bake for about 75 minutes until wooden skewer & comes out clean
    6. Cool in pan 10 minutes before inverting on cooling rack.
    7. NOTES: double recipe and use a angel food pan. Bake 1 hour + 50 minutes.
