List of Ingredients
- 3/4 C butter, softened at room temperature
- 1 8oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 3/4 C flour
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy and light, add sugar gradually, beat in eggs, slowly.
- Combine flour, baking powder; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
- Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan.
- Bake for about 75 minutes until wooden skewer & comes out clean
- Cool in pan 10 minutes before inverting on cooling rack.
- NOTES: double recipe and use a angel food pan. Bake 1 hour + 50 minutes.
