List of Ingredients



• 1 C Crisco
  
• 4 C brown sugar
  
• 4 eggs
  
• 1/2 t salt
  
• 1 T cream of tartar
  
• 1 T vanilla
  
• 6 C flour
  
• ICING ingredients:
  
• 1/2 C 10x sugar
  
• enough milk to make spreadable
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350°
   Mix together: crisco, sugar, eggs & vanilla
   sift /whisk dry ingredients until well combined
   Combine dry ingredients with Crisco mixture
   Pat into 4 loaves, wrap in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil.
   Refrigerate overnight (or minimum of 6 hours)
   
2. Cut into 1/4" thick slices
   Brush with icing
   
3. Bake 8-10 minutes
   
4. Yields about 8 dozen
