1 C Strawberries, hulled and rinsed
1/2 C sour cream
3 T brown sugar
1 T brandy
Recipe
Just before serving, rinse berries and trim stems with a paring knife. Mix remaining ingredients and let stand for 2-3 minutes. Put berries in stemmed wine glasses and top with sauce.
You could also use 2 quarts of strawberries - halved, place them in a pie plate, top with the above mixture - doubled, sprinkle with brown sugar. Pop under the broiler until brown sugar bubbles / carmelizes.
Serve in wine glasses or dessert bowls.
