Horseradish Meatballs

Yield 3 dozen
Egg substitute equivalent to 2 eggs
1 T. prepared horseradish
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped green onions
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground turkey
SAUCE:
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. chili sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 T. prepared horseradish
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. ground mustard
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Crumble meat over mixture; mix well. Shape into 1-1/2 in. balls. Place in a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350-F for 35-40 minutes or until no longer pink.
Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Add meat balls; stirring gently to coat.
