    Beer Bread

    3 cups flour, sifted
    3 tablespoons sugar
    12 ounces beer, at room temperature
    1/2 cup raisins, optional
    cinnamon, to taste

    Soak raisins in beer about 1/2 hour. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and beer with raisins together until everything is incorporated.

    Pour into a greased loaf pan, bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour (or until toothpick in center comes out clean).

    Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and brush on top of cooked loaf (optional), serve warm. It also tastes good the next day, toasted.
