2 medium tart apples, peeled
2 medium fresh peaches, peeled and cubed
2 c. unsweetened pineapple chunks
1-1/4 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1/4 c. honey
2 lemon slices (1/4-in)
1 cinnamon stick (3-1/2 in.)
1 medium firm banana, thinly sliced
Garnish: Whipped cream, sliced almonds and maraschino cherries. optional
Cut apples into 1/4-in, slices and then in half; place in slow cooker. Add next 6 ingredients. Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours. Just before serving, stir in banana slices. Serve with whipped cream, almonds and cherries if desired.
