- 4 eggs well beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. orange or pineapple juice
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. cooking oil
- 4 or 5 apples sliced thin
- 3 tsp. cinnamon mixed with 6-7 tabs. sugar
Instructions
- beat eggs with sugar. sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to first mixture. add orange juice, cooking oil and vanilla gradually. beat well. sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over sliced apples.
- using greased tube pan, put in alternate layers of batter then apples ending with batter. bake in preheated 350º oven about one hour.
