- 1 clove garlic,pressed
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 can (13 3/4) chicken broth
- 4 scallions, diagonally sliced
- 1 large carrot, disgonally sliced
- 1 can (8oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 2-3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 1/2 c. dry minute rice
Instructions
- Saute Garlice and egg in oil, stirr constantly to scramble and break into pieces.
- Add chicken broth, scallions, carrot, water chestnuts soy sauce and brown sugar
- Bring to a boil
- Stir in rice.
- Cover and then remove from heat and let stand 5 min.
- Fluff with fork.
