- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 lb. muchrooms, thickly sliced
- 1 tbsp. leamon juice
- 2 c. milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp. salt dash of pepper
Instructions
- In sausepan, melt butter and saute onions until golden and light.
- add muchrooms and leamon juice, then cook over med.- high heat until muchrooms are tender, not dark - about 5 min.
- Add milk, cream,salt and pepper.
- cook thoroughly over med. heat until hot, but not boiling.
