Slow-Simmered Spaghetti Meat Sauce

My family loves this. DJ said that this is the only way we can have spaghetti from now on. Thank goodness that it's so easy.
List of Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 pound bulk Italian pork sausage
2 medium carrots, finely chopped (1 cup)
1 medium green pepper, chopped (1 cup)
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
16 ounces uncooked spaghetti
Parmesan cheese
Recipe
Cook beef and sausage in skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until beef is brown and sausage is no longer pink. Drain.
Put everything in crockpot but the pasta.
Cover and cook on low setting 8 to 10 hours
About 20 minutes before serving, cook spaghetti as directed on package.
