    I can't make fried rice but this recipe made it so easy to do and you don't even need a Wok.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup water
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2 T soy sauce (I recommend 4)
    • 2 cups of cooked long grain rice
    • 1 tsp oil
    • 1/2 onion, finely chopped ( I use 2 bunches of green table onions)
    • 1/2 cup frozen peas
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper


    Instructions


    1. In saucepan bring water salt and soy sauce to a boil. Add cooked rice and stir. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 5 minutes.
    2. Heat oil in a medium skillet or wok over medium heat. Saute onions and peas for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour egg and fry for 2 minutes, scrambling egg while it cooks.
    3. Stir in the cooked rice, mix well and sprinkle with pepper.


    Final Comments


    This fried rice is not as greasy. I really like it alot.
