Recipe Introduction


My husband loves her baked beans and she has to make them at every holiday event, hubby says so! :)


List of Ingredients




4 strips of bacon
1 small onion
1 lb hamburger
1/2 C dark molasses
1/2 C ketchup
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 cans of Bush's Baked beans (1 1/2lb cans)
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper


Recipe



Brown bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and save. Sauté onions in bacon drippings, add hamburger and cook until done, salt and pepper. Drain hamburger. In separate bowl mix molasses, ketchup, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce thoroughly. Then mix that sauce with the hamburger. Crumble bacon over beans and add to meat mixture. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350.
