No Blues BBQ (from Cooking With PETA)

This is for all the Animal Lovers that "Don't Eat Animals". REJOICE! YOU CAN STILL EAT BBQ! Since I really do like (live) Animals,(and I also like the taste of many dead ones too), I offer this BBQ recipe to YOU....the ones that just eat only grains, oats, corn, barley, burger, wheat, grass, straw and all the other stuff that feeds and keeps all those farm animals alive. All those poor Animals are dieing off in great numbers now of starvation because of all the Vegetarians that are eating up all their food!!!

    List of Ingredients

    1 pound extra-firm tofu
    1 cup barbecure sauce
    Oil for the pan
    4 whole wheat sandwich rolls

    Recipe

Drain the tofu and cut it in half horizontally to make two pieces. Wrap the tofu in a clean towel, press between two baking sheets with a heavy weight on top and refrigrate for an hour or more.
Unwrap the tofu and place it in a shallow dish. Spoon 3/4 cup of the barbecue sauce over the tofu, cover the baking dish and let the tofu marinate in the refrigrator for at least several hours. The longer the tofu mariantes (up to five days) the more flavorful it will be.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Place the marinated tofu on a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake for 1 hour. Slice the sandwich rolls open, cut the tofu into thin slices and divide it among the rolls. Mix sauteed onions, bell peppers and other toppings with the remaining barbecue sauce and spoon over the sandwiches.

Now Isn't Just Cooking A Slab Of Dead Meat Over A Grill So Much More Easier and Much More Tasty ?
