    Vanilla Custard Ice Cream

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cup half and half
    3/4 cup sugar
    4 egg yolks
    1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
    2 cups cream

    Recipe



    Combine half and half, sugar and egg yolks in saucepan. Cook over low heat. Chill in refrigerator. Pour into freezer canister. Stir in cream and vanilla extract. Freeze as instructed.

    Makes 1 quart
