    Horseradish Meatballs

    List of Ingredients

    MEATBALLS:
    2 eggs
    1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
    1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
    1/4 cup chopped green onions
    1/2 teaspoons salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1/2 pound ground pork

    SAUCE:
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup chili sauce
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 teaspoon ground mustard
    1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

    Recipe

    In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble meat over mixture; mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place in a greased 15 X 10 X 1 inch baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes or until no longer pink.

    Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Add meatballs; stir gently to coat.

    Yield: 3 dozen
