    Broccoli Stir-Fry With Noodles

    List of Ingredients




    6 ounces eggless noodles (about 3 cups cooked)
    1 tablespoon sesame seeds
    1 tablespoon peanut oil
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    4 cups fress broccoli florets
    1 can (8 ounce) drained sliced water chestnuts
    1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    3/4 cup vefetable broth
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 teaspoons cornstarch

    Recipe



    1. Cook noodles according to directions without salt or oil; drain.
    2. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet cook and stir sesame seeds over medium-high heat 2 or 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
    3. In same skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds.
    4. Add broccoli, water chestnuts and mushrooms; cook and stir 7 to 8 minutes or until broccoli is softened.
    5. In a small bowl, combine broth, soy sauce and cornstarch; blend well.
    6. Add noodles and cornstartch mixture to skillet; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Serves 4
