    Meatballs: Sweet and Sour Meatballs

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    3/4 cup rolled oats
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts -- drained and chopped
    1/2 cup milk
    1 egg -- slightly beaten
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 teaspoon accent
    1/2 teaspoon onion salt
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    dash hot pepper sauce

    Sauce:
    1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple drain and save juice
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    1 cup beef bouillon
    1/2 cup white vinegar
    2 teaspoons soy sauce
    1/3 cup green pepper, cut in pieces
    sliced water chestnuts


    Mix meatball ingredients and fry in pan and drain well. You can also cook these in the oven.
    Sauce

    Drain pineapple and save juice. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in pan. Put all liquids in bowl using the pineapple juice as well, and add slowly. Cook till thick and clear. Stir in peppers, pineapple, water chestnuts and meatballs.

    You can also add red cherries for color.
