    Sweet Bread: Butter Horns [Butter Hornchen]

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup butter[ no sub]
    2 cups flour
    1 cup sour cream
    1 egg yolk
    1 cup apricot filling
    1/2 cup powdered sugar

    Recipe

    Cut butter into flour in bowl. Add sour cream and egg yolk. Mix well...shape into a ball wrap and refrigerate overnight...divide dough into 4 parts and roll into 10" circles on floured surface...
    cut each circle into 8 wedges and fill wide end with apricot filling...roll each wedge from wide end to shape a horn...bake on parchment lined cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown...allow to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar..
