Fruit: Apple Butter Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees,
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
sift together and toss in
3/4 cup chopped pecans
in a large bowl, cream together
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy
2 eggs, beaten into mixture
Fold in the flour mixture and
1 1/2 cups apple butter.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x12 inch baking dish. Bake 45 to 55 minutes, until done. Remove from oven. Cool on rack and sprinkle top with powdered sugar. Cut into squares to serve with a warm butter rum or caramel sauce..
