List of Ingredients
1/4 cup butter, margarine or chicken fat
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 (14-1/2 ounce) can (1-2/3 cup) evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups cooked rice
2-1/2 cups diced cooked chicken
1 (3-ounce) can (2/3 cup) broiled sliced mushrooms; drained
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped pimiento
Recipe
Melt butter; blend in flour. Add broth, milk, and water; cook and stir over low heat till thick. Add salt, rice, chicken and vegetables. Pour into greased 11-1/2x7-1/2x1-1/2 inch baking dish. Bake in moderate oven (350�) 30 minutes. If desired top with 1/2 cup slivered blanced almonds; toasted
