    This recipe is from Julie Green, wife of Trent Green. As any avid Rams Football fan knows, Trent Green was backup quarterback for the St. Louis Rams, and was traded recently to the Kansas City Chiefs.

    List of Ingredients

    l-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
    l tsp. seasoned salt (Lawry's)
    l-1.5 oz. pkg. seasoning mix for spaghetti sauce (such as Lawry's)
    8-oz. can tomato sauce
    6-oz. can tomato paste
    1-1/2 C. water
    10 oz. rigatoni (cooked & drained)
    16 oz. carton low-fat small-curd cottage cheese
    1-1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

    Recipe


    Preheat oven to 350. In large skillet, brown beef; drain fat. Add seasoned salt, spaghetti sauce seasonings, tomato sauce, tomato paste and water. Mix well. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and let simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent scorching. In 2-qt. casserole, layer half the pasta, half the cottage cheese and half the meat sauce. Sprinkle with 1/2 C. cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, ending with remaining 1 C. cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 min. or until bubbly and cheese is melted. Yield 8 servings.
