Pork and Kraut (with a twist)

Recipe Introduction
You can do this fresh pork knuckles, kielbasi, etc. or a combination different meat and saugages.
List of Ingredients
3-4 pounds of pork spareribs cut in 2-3 rib pieces
2 cans or bags of sauerkraut, drained
2 granny smith or red delicious apples diced in large pieces
6 red potatoes, scrubbed and skin on cut in half
1 large white onion
2-3 cloves garlic
1 cup apple juice
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Recipe
Season ribs with salt, pepper and place on bottom of crockpot, top with onions, garlic, potatoes, sauerkraut, add red pepper flakes, brown sugar, apples and apple juice, cook on slow for 8-10 hours
