    List of Ingredients




    CRUST:
    ¼ cup butter
    1 ¾ cup crushed gingersnaps

    FILLING:
    3 (8-oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
    ¼ cup packed dark brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2/3 cup whipping cream
    7 oz semisweet chocolate, broken in pieces
    ½ cup chopped mixed nuts
    1/3 cup chopped raisins

    GARNISH:
    powdered sugar

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Crust:
    Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in crushed gingersnaps. Press mixture in bottom of a greased 9-inch spring-form pan. Set aside.

    Filling:
    Beat cream cheese, brown sugar and eggs in a large bowl until smooth. Bring whipping cream to a boil in a small saucepan; remove from heat. Stir in chocolate until melted; blend into cheese mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins. Spoon filling into prepared crust. Bake for 50 minutes or until set. Cool before removing from pan.

    To garnish:
    dust with icing sugar.
    Makes 10 servings.
