No Crust Cheesecake

Recipe Introduction


It has NO crust!!! Just a short story with it, though. My girlfriend gave me this years ago. She said it was her Aunt's favorite cheesecake recipe. It reminded her of New York Cheesecake. Well, when "Auntie" found out she gave me the recipe, she got so mad, she never gave her another recipe for anything! Thank goodness for this place!!!!!



List of Ingredients




2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
1 16 oz. container ricotta cheese
1 pint sour cream
3 ½ tablespoon. flour
1 ½ cup sugar
4 eggs
juice of ½ lemon or 2 Tablespoon. lemon juice
¼ teaspoon vanilla
3 ½ tablespoon cornstarch
¼ cup melted butter


Recipe



Blend cream cheese & ricotta in mixer. Add sugar & eggs, one at a time. Add remaining ingredients. Butter a 9" spring form pan, & pour mixture in. Place cheesecake in COLD oven at 325º & bake 1 hour. Shut off oven after 1 hour & leave in oven for 2 hours.
DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR FOR TOTAL OF 3 HOURS
