    List of Ingredients




    1/2 CUP BUTTER/MARGARINE
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 & 1/4 cup flour

    2 eggs
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup crushed pineapple drained (save juice for icing)
    1 cup coconut
    1/3 cup candied cherries chopped
    1 tsp rum flavoring

    ICING
    1-1/2 cups icing sugar
    3 TBSP butter, margarine
    1/2 tsp rum flavoring
    5 tsp pinapple juice
    2 TBSP flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder

    Bottom layer - crumble butter,sugar & flour together well. Pack in 9x9 in ungreased pan. Bake 350 for 15 minutes.

    Top layer - bet eggs slightly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over bottom layer. Bake 350 for 25-30 min until med brown colour and is set. frost with icing below. Cut into 36 squares.


    ICING:
    Combine all together in bowl. Beat, adding more juice if icing is too stiff. Spread over bars. Allow to set before cutting.
