    Cookie:
    1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp EACH: salt & baking soda
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 cup Crisco
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 large egg
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract
    1/4 cup milk
    18 marshmallows, cut in 1/2

    FROSTING:
    2 cups confectioners' sugar
    5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/8 tsp salt
    3 tablespoons soft butter
    4-5 tablespoons milk

    Cookie:
    Heat oven to 350F. Grease baking sheets. Sift dry ingredients. Cream Crisco, sugar, egg, vanilla extract & milk. Mix with dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake 8 minutes at 350F. Remove; press 1/2 marshmallow, cut side down, on top of each cookies. Bake 2 minutes longer. Cool; top with frosting. Add a pecan 1/2 to top of each cookie after frosting, if desired.

    FROSTING:
    In saucepan, combine butter, cocoa & milk. Bring to a boil; boil 1 min, stirring constantly. Cool slightly; transfer to small mixing bowl. Add confectioners' sugar & salt; beat well. Spread over cooled cookies.
