    3 cups quick-cooking oats
    2½ cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup butter
    2 cup packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    4 teaspoon vanilla
    1 14oz can (about 1 1/3 cup) sweetened condensed milk
    1½ cup semi sweet chocolate pieces
    2 tablespoon butter
    ½ cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Combine oats, flour, soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Beat 1 cup butter for 30 seconds; add brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs and 2 teaspoon vanilla; beat well. Stir in dry ingredients gradually into beaten mixture, stir until well combined. Heat together milk, chocolate, 2 teaspoon butter and ½ teaspoon salt over low heat, stirring until smooth. remove from heat. Stir in nuts and remaining 2 teaspoon vanilla. Pat 2/3rd of oats mixture in the bottom of an ungreased 15x10x1” baking pan. Spread chocolate mixture over dough. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25030 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars.
