Crockpot Stuffing

1 pkg Jimmy Dean low fat sausage
1 large or 2 med onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, sliced thin
Brown the meat and veggies in a skillet. When cooked thru with soft veggies and brown meat, put in a bowl. Mash with a potato masher to break up the sausage really fine.
Add:
1 bag Pepperidge Farm Stuffing Mix
1 tbsp Bells seasoning
1 egg
1 stick butter
3 cups, approximately, of chicken or turkey broth
Toss all in bowl with 2 cups of broth. Put in crockpot. Top with last cup of broth. Cook on high 15 minutes, then on low for 4-5 hours. Stir once halfway thru and add more broth as needed.
This is so moist, simple, and tasty. It dissappeared at our camp meal last week. So nice to just have it done with and in the crock. We were able to take off for the rest of the afternoon hiking, then come home to that lovely stuffing scent, yum!
