    Ingredients for Filling
    6 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
    1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
    3 tablespoons flour
    2 teaspoons lemon juice

    Ingredients for Topping
    3/4 cup rolled oats (not instant or quick cooking)
    1/2 cup all-purpose white flour
    1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup dark brown sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    4 tablespoons cold, unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

    Recipe



    Preparation of Filling
    Place the blueberries in a large bowl.
    Add sugar and flour.
    Place the mixture in an 8-inch square baking dish and sprinkle with lemon juice.
    Preparation of Topping
    In a large bowl, combine oats, white and whole wheat flours, sugar, and cinnamon. Blend together using your hands or a fork.
    Work in the butter using a fork or the tips of your fingers until it is evenly distributed.
    Sprinkle the topping evenly over the filling.
    Bake the crumble at 375° for 30 minutes until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is lightly browned. Let it sit 20 minutes and serve warm.
